BBC Two confirm when final series of Matt Le Blanc's Episodes will air
The award-winning, critically acclaimed comedy Episodes returns for a much-anticipated fifth and final season this month. This hilarious series comes from visionary creators David Crane (Friends) and Jeffrey Klarik (Mad About You).
In Episodes, Matt LeBlanc (Top Gear) plays an outrageous version of himself, a dazzling, multifaceted role for which he won a Golden Globe and received four Emmy nominations for Outstanding Actor in a Comedy. Stephen Mangan (Green Wing) and Tamsin Greig (Friday Night Dinner), two of the crown jewels of British comedy, are Sean and Beverly Lincoln, an English couple who are brought to the US to remake their hit UK sitcom for American audiences, only to see it corrupted beyond all recognition.
Episodes, which in its first four series earned a slew of Emmy, BAFTA, and Golden Globe awards and nominations, is produced by Jimmy Mulville and Hat Trick Productions (Have I Got News For You) for Showtime and BBC Two.
In the series opener, everyone is at rock bottom. Then Matt makes things worse. You can see at at 10.30pm, BBC Two on Good Friday.
