British actor Henry Cavill has responded to claims he’ll no longer play Superman.
Yesterday, The Hollywood Reporter claimed Cavill had parted ways with Warner Bros. He’d previously appeared as the Superhero in 2013's Man of Steel, 2016's Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice and last years ensemble movie, Justice League.
The Hollywood Reporter says Cavill’s exit came after scheduling conflicts for a cameo in new movie Shazam! which will be released next year. It follows speculation that the studio wish to “reset” their DC Universe, following the terrible reception received for Justice League.
