There's a whole lot of drama coming in episode 2 of The Great British Bake Off 2016!
A massive 11.5million tuned into the first episode from The Great British Bake Off of 2016 last night, with a whopping 50% of the audience share hoping for a glance of Mary’s Baps or a soggy bottom. It was cake week, and it cooked up all the usual drama one could hope for.
Next week is biscuit week and there’s carnage from the outset. “I think I can smell burning… can you smell burning?” asks one contestant, before they discover the disaster that is in their oven.
Then there’s another “Oh No!” in the technical challenge and as Paul says, there are “a few issues”.
Don’t miss the bakers tackling sweets, pastries, cakes, pies and patisserie at 8pm next Wednesday on BBC One.
